今天要跟大家推薦的這首歌，是由來自英格蘭的年輕男歌手Lewis Capaldi所演唱，這位歌手從2017年才出道，曾經出過一張流行樂專輯，是個頗有才華的新人。而和他合唱的，是加拿大裔女歌手Jessie Reyez，2014年出道後就頗受矚目，同時也是個創作型歌手。

Lewis的嗓音非常陽剛，帶有微微的撕裂感，放在這種情緒比較重的情歌裏頭非常適合，聽起來也很愉悅。Jessie的聲音相對就比較弱一點了，音色是很棒的，但是兩人似乎聲音沒有太大火花，兩人合音的部分常常會讓我不自覺聽向Lewis充滿磁性的聲音，這是這首歌稍微可惜的地方。

然而這首歌的歌詞非常動情，兩人看來已經走到了不可挽回的地步，男方雖然對於前女友有些忿忿不平，但還是關切著她的心，我特別喜歡歌詞前兩句"The space between where our ends meet (我們的距離似乎越來越遠) Has grown too much for me to block it out (讓我無法向你靠近)" 其實歌詞原本直譯的話，意思應該是「我們兩人曾經如此緊密，但我們之間似乎長出了某種東西，而且長得太多了，以至於我沒辦法把它處理掉，而這也讓我和你之間越來越遠。」我把它簡化了，但原本這樣的意象是非常有畫面感的。
