上一篇我推薦了英國歌手Calum Scott在這張《Only Human》專輯裡的〈Come Back Home〉，這次要推薦的是專輯裡另一首我覺得更好聽的歌曲，〈Give Me Something〉。

Calum在這張專輯裡的歌都是很強的，論情歌絕對都是首首動人，論輕快的風格也都是別出心裁，這首歌是專輯裡節奏比較強的曲子，也能展現Calum聲音更自在豪放的一面，我個人認為非常出色。老實說每次在聽Calum的歌時，都會有一種好像聽過但其實沒聽過的感覺，這並不是因為他音樂跟別人很像，而是因為他的個人風格強烈到深植我的潛意識，讓我每每聽到新歌，就會立馬想到Calum Scott，這樣歌曲量不多的歌手能夠讓我有這樣的體會，真的是令我意外。

在這張專輯中，我個人最喜歡的歌曲嚴格說起來只有五首，除了早就釋出的〈You Are The Reason〉、〈Rhythm Inside〉、〈Dancing On My Own〉以外，這次新聽到的曲子裡我最愛的是這首〈Give Me Something〉，接下來才是〈Come Back Home〉。我個人很希望下一張打的單曲會是這次翻譯的〈Give Me Something〉啊～

Calum說這首歌寫的是對於愛的失望，關於那些你付出卻得不到相對回應的感情，而你必須要試著去努力看看，即便會邁向失敗、遭遇傷痛，那也沒有關係。這次Calum的聲音和風格會讓我想到另外一位歌手John Newman，他們的聲音聽起來都非常有說服力，誠懇度也是百分百，而且都用簡單的歌詞傳達出去，是我喜歡的音樂類型。
