喜歡Ed Sheeran的粉絲最近應該耳朵閒不下來吧，Ed昨天一次釋出14首專輯曲目音檔在Youtube上，讓我都不知道從哪首聽起才好。
聽完一輪之後，覺得《÷》這張專輯真的是太強了，各種曲風都有，而且Ed的每一首歌都好聽而且具有故事性。這裡想抱怨，為什麼主打歌會是〈Shape Of You〉跟〈Castle On The Hill〉呢？整張專輯最好聽的根本明顯不是這兩首啊......
昨日聽完之後覺得最好聽的五首歌是〈Perfect〉、〈Nancy Mulligan〉、〈Save Myself〉、〈Galway Girl〉、〈Happier〉，之後我也會陸續放上這些歌詞翻譯。我自己本來想把Lady Gaga的《Joanne》專輯翻一些不錯的歌曲，為這張專輯做個紀念，現在看來又要延宕了。不過我真心透過這張專輯喜歡上如此柔情的Ed，看來今年的葛萊美獎又多一個強烈的對手了，Gaga小心啊～～
這首歌講述的是Ed的祖父母相遇相愛的故事，Ed的祖父原名叫Bill Sheeran、祖母原名叫Anne Mulligan，在歌詞中化名為William Sheeran和Nancy Mulligan。當時因為宗教、家庭因素，愛爾蘭南北的城鎮基本上是不能結婚的，於是乎這兩個苦命的男女就到城外私奔、結婚，真是個浪漫的故事啊。
歌詞中的Wexford這個地方位在Nancy家鄉邊界的一個城市，因為他們必須離開家鄉私下結婚，但又不想離開太遠，所以才選擇此處吧。
另外，這首曲子的風格是以愛爾蘭傳統歌謠為形式，可以聽到由特殊的樂器和歡快的節奏構成的旋律。
