最近 Ellie Goulding 推出了新專輯《Brightest Blue》之中的首波主打《Slow Grenade》，這首歌還找來了時下超流行的年輕歌手 Lauv 合作，兩人的聲音非常契合，也在這次的合作之後成為很好的朋友。

自從 2015 年以《Love Me Like You Do》再次爆紅之後，其實 Ellie 一直陸陸續續有推出單曲，但似乎有點漸漸回不到當時的巔峰，希望這次的最新歌曲和專輯作品，能慢慢讓更多人重新注意到她。

這首歌其實有點像是寫出了戀愛中「抖M」的心聲，在一段愛情裡，我們可能常常會面臨風風雨雨，有些人可能明明知道眼前事態即將爆炸，卻仍然享受著被炸個遍體鱗傷的感覺，這種矛盾的心情，卻是許多人都曾經歷過的。

我滿喜歡歌曲的編制，許多地方在我以為就要變成芭樂電音歌曲的一瞬間，它偏偏變得非常純粹、耐聽，而且整首歌你只要聽一遍，旋律就會狠狠地把你洗腦，這就是 Ellie 歌曲最厲害的地方(讓你心甘情願地被洗腦)。
