最近The Weekend釋出了新專輯《After Hours》的所有新歌，其中我個人滿喜歡這首《Scared To Live》的，有別於他典型而強烈的個人風格，我反而更能catch到威肯如此赤裸的情緒，不做過多的伴奏，他卻完整表達了一首很悲傷的失戀故事。

這首歌想表達的主角，是被The Weekend分手的前女友，對方似乎因為分手而感到失落，不再懂得如何去愛，甚至連生命的意義都無從尋找，因此The Weekend似是懺悔，卻又無奈地道出了心中的不捨，用不斷重複的鼓勵告訴她：不要害怕活下去。在悲傷之餘，更多的是一種束手無策的感覺，聽來令人不勝唏噓。
